Impact Investing Opportunities

Your investment in Global Camps Africa's programs makes a measurable impact.  The opportunity to direct your donation to one or more of the projects in our Impact Investment Portfolio is our way of opening a path to even deeper, more interactive engagement between you and the vulnerable children we reach through your gift.  

We'll hold your donation in a restricted fund until the project you've selected is fully funded.  When the required investment is reached, we'll report to you on progress toward our goals and tell you about the children participating in the program you've supported.  We're committed to making the greatest impact possible with your partnership, and we're grateful you've chosen to invest in these life-changing programs for HIV-affected youth.

IMPACTING YOUTH IN THEIR COMMUNITIES:
Strengthening Youth Clubs for Greater Impact

Required Investment:  $10,000 per Youth Club (7 clubs available for sponsorship)

Project Goal:  Investing in this project will provide the necessary resources to implement youth-led strategies for greater uptake of our follow-on programs by Sizanani campers, increased opportunities for continuing education and life skills training for former campers, and ongoing access to needed ancillary social support services.

Scaling Up!
Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship ClubS

Required Investment: $17,000

Projected Goal:  Our successful Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Clubs provide a set of tools that are new and powerful, training participants in financial literacy and basic business skills. Our goal is to scale this program up in the coming year and train 100 more youth.  We will support the development of 20 new business plans, and grant 20 new microloans.

Women Matter:
Young Women’s Empowerment Program

Required Investment: $13,200

Project Goal: Our program aims to provide a safe space for girls and young women to learn about their rights, HIV prevention and discuss the challenges they face in their communities as a result of discriminatory gender norms. Our goal is to scale this program up to reach 300 girls and young women in 2018-2019.
